✅ Eligibility:
Patients with a valid registration from their U.S. state or territory’s medical cannabis program are eligible for reciprocity.
📍 Accepted Jurisdictions:
We welcome patients from the following states and territories:
- Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California (state card only—no physician certifications), Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.
🛒 Purchase Limits:
- Patients can purchase up to 8 ounces of cannabis within a 30-day rolling period.

✅ Temporary Card Options for Non-DC Residents:
Non-DC residents can now choose from five valid periods when registering for a temporary medical cannabis card:
- 3 days – $10
- 30 days – $20
- 90 days – $50
- 180 days – $75
- 365 days – $100
🛠️ Easy Two-Step Application Process:
- Submit the Non-DC Resident Medical Cannabis Patient Application.
- After submission, you will immediately receive an email with a payment link to complete your registration.
📩 Digital Registration:
- Upon payment, you will promptly receive a digital registration via email, which can be used immediately.
- You will not receive a physical card—only the digital registration sent to your email.
⚠️ Important Tips:
- Please do not submit multiple applications. If you don’t receive a payment link or registration, contact: xyz@gmail.com.
- We recommend completing the application the week before your dispensary visit, so we can assist with any issues while ABCA is open.
- If you are applying for another month of the Non-Resident Visitor’s Pass, you must submit a new application and use the new payment link.
- Do not reuse your first application or payment link.
🌍 Reciprocity Reminder:
- Patients extended reciprocity through their home state’s program do not need to apply to ABCA.
- However, they must maintain active patient registration in their state or territory.
- Patients with expired registrations may apply for a temporary Non-DC Resident Medical Cannabis Patient Registration.

Non-DC residents must present:
- A valid digital or physical patient registration
- A government-issued photo ID
